Can ‘My Snoring Solution’ Jaw Supporter Really Prevent Snoring and OSA? (obstuctive sleep apnea)

First of all I want to make a disclaimer here. Please don’t believe all of the hype online about this new revolutionary product called the My Snoring Solution chin strap or any other product for that matter. People tend to bloat the effectiveness of any single product that they are trying to sell you.

However, don’t discount the fact that this product could potentially be your ticket to snore free nights. It may or may not work depending on the cause of your snoring problem. It is important to first understand why you are snoring in the first place. Click this link to learn more: how to stop snoring

Anyways, the idea behind this chin strap is to support your jaw while you sleep. It will help prevent your jaw from relaxing causing your air passage to become narrow when you enter the REM sleep cycle. When you maintain a open clear passage when you are in such a relaxed state of sleep you will greatly reduce the chances of the soft tissue in your throat to vibrate, which in turn makes the snoring sound.

Stephen Matthews, the inventor of My Snoring Solution jaw supporter, explains that the product will keep your jaw in the forward position, but more importantly, it is a comfortable fit. He goes on to explain the theory behind this jaw support in that it is much the same principle as CPR where air can only pass through an open airway.

Again, when their is an obstruction in the airway or it has collapsed from a relaxed jaw, snoring and/or obstructive sleep apnea are a potential result. This snoring solution jaw supporter has the potential to provide a better nights sleep by positioning the jaw in a way to keep the air passage open. If this is the case, then you can steer clear of expensive surgeries, medications, therapy, and even machines attached to your face while you sleep.

Additionally, if you are a user of a CPAP, Stephen Mathews goes on to say that it can greatly increase your comfort level while wearing this anti snoring device. And who knows, you may even be able to get rid of the CPAP entirely, which has been the case for some users of the jaw supporter.

Be sure to consult your physician before eliminating you CPAP. These results are not typical for all users.

- There were recent studies and clinical trials completed that demonstrated the fact that a simple chinstrap could potentially improve the air flow when breathing. This was done with 30 patients and the results from the test were showing a significant drop in the use of a CPAP.

Granted, a CPAP is a great way to substantially improve most patients obstructive sleep apnea, however, the researchers for this study are claiming the chinstrap appeared to have even better results.

They concluded that a lateral positioning combined with how the chin was maneuvered greatly impacted the results of the study positively.
